What Compassionate Conservatism Means

I don't have much time to write this evening. I'm tremendously busy at work. It's getting late, and I have an early meeting I need to be at tomorrow morning, but I had to take a few minutes to point those few of you that visit here to Ashley's Story.

Some time ago, President Bush, at a speech in Lebanon, Ohio, encountered a young lady who had lost her mother in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. His heartfelt, warm, fatherly response to her is one of the reasons I support him so strongly. President Bush is a genuinely compassionate conservative. He truly, deeply cares about the people of this country. I'm looking forward to voting for him two weeks from today. Four more years!
