Sorry, comments have been disabled. See my note below. I've had to take this action due to spam being left on my Guest Book page.
CommentsHi, we have a mutual friend, Lesley at House of Plum (doubt she'll admit it). I noticed you went to PLU and work for Boeing, so I assume you live near me (Federal Way). Anyway this is my site www.derspiel.com Check it out sometime maybe, we could use more intelligent people in the forum. I'll link you if you reply back, I get about 150 visitors a day right now. My email is on my site.
CommentsHi Pete, got your site ready to add to the MilBlogs list as soon as Blogrolling is restored. Condolences on your recent loss; as a fellow Christian I know even these temporary separations can be quite painful. Greyhawk
CommentsRead your comments re evangelical blogging. Wondered if you would show your solidarity in <a href="http://www.adrian.warnock.info/2003_12_21_archive.htm#107197256184495002">Blogging for God</a>, by popping over and visit the new ecosystem forum and <a href="http://www.truthlaidbear.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=204#204"> and expressing your interest in my proposal</a>- lets make this our joint effort to promote Christian blogs. I have deliberately used the word Christian in this context rather than evangelical (although I identify as an evangelical). Many thanks Adrian Warnock www.adrian.warnock.info
CommentsWell, following your comments on another blog, your wish is my command!!! The Blogdom of God now exists at the Ecosystem, and I have included you (since you requested it!!!) Anyway, if you can promote this in any wat that would be great. Take a look at http://www.truthlaidbear.com/ba.php and www.adrian.warnock.info for more info
CommentsThank you for taking the time to examine the claims of that sad hate mongerer, Henry Makow. I stumbled upon him inadvertently on the 'net and was just astounded that someone could, in this day and age, still believe such ignorant nonsense. You are only the second person I've found on the www to counter his ignorance and hate with reasoned argument. That's sad... but maybe it's a bit of a case of "onlooker syndrome"... that sense of self preservation that kicks in when we face up to a bully.
CommentsPete, I was happy to see that you are a Christian that plays Neverwinter Nights...my son is a hard core, and though I haven't played, I didn't think it was harmful. Any thoughts?
CommentsThe hyperlink bouncing from site to site from one original motivation to a completely different end never ceases to amaze me. And I like you work in this industry. I was Google searching for some more information on Dave Ross' running for congressional office and one of your journal pieces came up. Your "ranting" was intriguing but then I found myself bouncing to your bio, then your employer's web site - all very fascinating. However, I shouldn't be surprised as I share some of the same passions and interests. Namely God's glorification in all of life and gratitude to His Son, our Redeemer. And also a software developer - SQL Server developer to be more specific, working for a municipal electric utility here in Washington. Thanks for the pleasant diversion Pete! Steve Pope Greetings, everyone. Unfortunately, some visitors to my web site have decided to leave spam and some strange-looking links in my Guest Book page, so I've had to take the unfortunate action of removing the offending material and disabling the ability to leave comments here. It pains me to do so, because I enjoyed hearing from those of you that have left legitimate comments. I won't, however, allow my site to be used for nefarious and evil purposes. To those of you that have left legitimate comments, thank you, and please feel free to leave comments on any of my posts. I enjoy hearing from you. To those of you that have left spam or links to other sites, please don't visit my site again. Your activities here are not appreciated.
