Custom Rifle Tune up's |
Tune your Spring Rifle and why you would want to Tune it. A rifle tune will smooth out the firing cycle and make the shot string more consistent; meaning that every time the rifle is shot it will have less deviation between the speeds of the pellet. This gives you a rifle that is more efficient, more accurate, less spring twang, softens the recoil, with modifying the trigger with a two stage insert it also make you a better shot by reducing the trigger pull weight to something that mimics a competition trigger assembly. A tune entails cleaning all the rough machine marks from a mass production rifle, fitting of the parts for a smooth action and lubing the rifle with the proper lubes to gain maximum performance. On most production rifles there are always some flaws in the assembly of the rifle like nicking the compression seal or a misaligned part. This is all taken care of when the rifle is dissembled and inspected. I return any and all parts that are replaced like a compression seal or a main spring for your inspection. The tune consists of disassembly and checking all parts for fit and defects Pre test the rifle over a chronograph Dissemble and deburr all surfaces Clean and inspect parts for defects Hone compression chamber and deburr Polish compression piston Fit stock seal and or install new seal Replace spring with modified aftermarket type. Install custom spring guide Install custom top hat. (roller top hat bearing top hat optional) Replace cocking wear shoe and rollers with custom parts Clean and inspect barrel (re crown if necessary) Clean and hone trigger assembly Install custom 2 stage trigger insert and adjust "Gamo and Gamo clones" Reassembly of the rifle with proper lubes (Moly 70, Spring Shield, The Clear) Final testing and clean up Any and all old parts replaced are returned with rifle. I do tunes on Gamo Rifles, Crossman Break Barrels, and the QB Series of Rifles and the BAM Break Barrel Rifles, and many others. Also tune the Beeman series rifles, all RWS rifles just e mail for quotes. |
