The University of the Pacific in Stockton sold the land at D and Windsor (historic red barn and land on both sides of Windsor) in 2004 to a developer, Davidon Homes of Walnut Creek, for $7.8 million. Davidon Homes submitted a plan to the City of Petaluma to build 93 single-family homes. This land is environmentally sensitive with landslides, drainage problems, and flooding.
