Adobe is a Spanish term for a brick made out of mud and straw used for building throughout the Southwest and Mexico. Our Adobe is the color of the Spanish adobe and is as solid as the brick. Adobe plays hard and hunts hard. Head shot photo on the right was taken by Cindy Weaver. Adobe was 14 months old.

Adobe went to the Vizsla Club of America Nationals held in Hyannis, MA on November 2, 2000. Adobe placed 2nd in a 23 dog 6-9 month Puppy Sweepstakes class. Adobe placed 3rd in the Bred-by Exhibitor class at the same show.

Adobe has tried his hand at field trials and has done some placing. Adobe placed 3rd in Amateur Walking Derby at the German Shorthaired Pointer Club field trial on December 2, 2000. Adobe placed 2nd in Amateur Walking Puppy and 3rd in Open Puppy at the El Paso Del Norte GSP Club field trial on December 9, 2000.

On January 20, 2000, Adobe went Winners Dog and Best of Winners for a 4 point major at the Rio Salado Vizsla Specialty under judge Barbara Goodman in Phoenix, Arizona.

Adobe earned three passes toward his Junior Hunter title at the Central NM Brittany Club and Yucca German Shorthaired Pointer Club Hunt Tests held in Albuquerque, NM on March 10 & 11, 2001. Adobe completed his Junior Hunter title and earned one extra pass at the Rio Salado Vizsla Club Hunt Test held in Cordes Junction, Arizona on March 17 & 18, 2001.

Adobe passed four out of four tests the weekend he completed his Master Hunter title. Adobe only needed three passes, but gave me one bonus pass.
