Cayenne places 1st in Open A in Tucson and wins $75.00 for placing first. Cayenne also earns his first pass toward his Master Agility Dog title in Tucson.
Sandia completes her Agility Excellent title on November 14 at the Saguaro Scramblers Agility trial held on Nov. 14 in Tucson, AZ.
OCTOBER 1998
Cayenne finishes his Agility Excellent title and places first on October 29 at the Vizsla Club of America National Specialty. Cayenne also placed 2nd in Open A obedience class at the VCA Nationals held in Omaha, Nebraska. Sandia earns her first pass in Open A with a 191 at the VCA Nationals. Picante places fourth in Open B at the VCA Nationals.
Cayenne finishes his Companion Dog Excellent title on Oct. 10 at the Mesilla Valley Kennel Club show with a 196 and a first place. Cayenne earns an insurance leg in Open A at the El Paso Kennel Club show held in Las Cruces, NM on Oct. 11 with a 196 for another 1st place.
Picante earns OTCh. points by placing first in Open B at the Mesilla Valley Kennel Club show with a 196. Picante placed 2nd in Open B with a 196 (no points available for 2nd) at the El Paso Kennel Club show on Oct. 11.
Chispa owned by Susanne Glasgow wins Best of Breed at the Sangre de Cristo Kennel Club show held in Santa Fe, NM on Oct. 4th.
Marina, owned by Monica and Michael Klein, finished her Open Agility title with a 1st place on Oct. 3 in Victorville, CA at the Apple Valley Kennel Club show.
Rita, Cayenne's litter sister owned by Monica and Michael Klein, finished her Novice Agility title on Oct. 4 in Victorville, CA running in 36 seconds (SCT 58 seconds) with a perfect score of 100 placing first in her Novice B class.
On Oct. 3, Rita earned her second Novice Agility pass placing 4th in Victorville, CA at the Apple Valley Kennel Club, Inc. show. At the same show, Rita earned her first pass toward her Companion Dog title. Rita earns two more passes finishing her Companion Dog title on Oct. 10 at the Black Mountain Kennel Club of Nevada show held in Las Vegas, NV.
SEPTEMBER 1998
Chispa (out of the Picante Diary litter) placed 1st on Sept. 19th in Novice Agility in Santa Ana, CA earning her 2nd leg with a scorching time of 35 seconds under the Standard Course Time of 68 seconds.
Cayenne is proud to announce the birth of his first litter on Sept. 19th out of Matchpoint's Poison Ivy JH owned by Diane Felicetta in Minnesota. Ivy whelped out 4 boys and 3 girls.
On Sept. 20th, Spicy earned her first pass toward her Open Jumpers With Weaves leg and placed 2nd at the Terry-All Kennel Club Agility trial. Spicy also earned her second pass toward her Standard Novice A title placing 4th.
Spicy finished her Novice A Jumpers With Weaves Agility title placing 1st on Sept. 19th at the Terry-All Kennel Club show in Denver, CO and earned her 1st pass in Standard Novice A Agility.
Cayenne placed 1st in Open A at the Las Cruces Dog Obedience Club on Sept. 20th with a score of 195.5 and won High Scoring Vizsla.
Cayenne finished 1st in Open A at the Las Cruces Dog Obedience Club on Sept 19th with a score of 198. He won high Scoring Sporting dog and High Scoring Vizsla.
Picante finished 4th in Open B at the Las Cruces Dog Obedience Club and completed her 3rd UDX leg on Sept 18th.
Cooper passed Open B with a 192.5 at the Las Cruces Dog Obedience Club show.
Spicy (out of Picante's Diary Litter) earned her final pass for her Senior Hunter title on Sept. 5th in Minnesota handled by her owner Joe Sullivan.

JULY 1998
SiSi (out of the Picante's Diary Litter) earned a 5 point major and finished her championship at the Astro World Dog Series on July 18th handled by Randy Edwards and owned by Jan Nuzzo. She earned a 5 point major and received a Judge's Award of Merit at the Texas Gulf Coast Vizsla Specialty on July 17th. Her official name is Ch. Poquito's Chile SiSi Season.
Cayenne received a Judge's Award of Merit at the Texas Gulf Coast Vizsla Club Specialty held in conjunction with the Astro World Dog Series in Houston, Texas on July 17. He also earned a second Standard Excellent agility leg.
Picante qualified twice in Standard Excellent agility at the Astro World Dog Series in Houston, Texas.
Cooper placed 10th in the International Agility 26" class out of 105 entries. He also earned his first Master Jumpers With Weaves leg.
Amigo placed 3rd in Standard Novice agility. This was a bonus leg.
Sue Pittman's Queso (from the Diary Litter) placed 4th in Standard Novice agility and earned his first leg.

- Simi, Cayenne's litter brother, finished his championship on May 3 with two back to back 5 point majors going Best Opposite over specials each day. Congrats to Ch.* Poquito's Picante Simpatico owned by JoAnna Salminen from Wisconsin. Now they are from an all-champion litter.

Marina owned by Monica and Michael Klein earns her fourth S.H. leg in Las Vegas, NV on 23 November. There were 4 hunt tests held in two days allowing for dogs to finish titles in one weekend.
Rita owned by Monica and Michael Klein earns all four of her J.H. legs for her title at the Las Vegas Hunt Test weekend. These two were the only dogs to pass all 4 tests.
Cayenne earned his fourth S.H. leg in Albuquerque on 23 November finishing his S.H. title in four straight attempts.

Chispa, a Diary of a Litter pup, finished her championship in grand style with a Group 1 out of the 9-12 month puppy class on Sunday 10/5 in Sante Fe, NM.
Cooper placed second in Open B on Saturday 10/4. He won High Scoring champion of record, High Scoring dog with a TD, and High Scoring sporting dog.
Amigo won BOB and made the cut in group on Saturday 10/4 in Sante Fe, NM.
SEPTEMBER 1997
Picante placed second in Open B winning her first OTCH point at the Dog Obedience Club of Las Cruces on Sunday 9/21. She also won high scoring Vizsla and high scoring champion of record.
