Chile con queso is Spanish for 'chile with cheese.' When Queso was a young pup he walked about saying, "I'm the big cheese"! This confidence remains very much a part of his personality. Queso shares his vizsla home with one other V.

At 4 months Queso started his field training and easily learned what the game was all about. Queso was entered in his first hunt test at 7 months and completed his Junior Hunter title one day after his first birthday. His work in Senior was exceptional and he earned his Senior title with style. We are very proud of Queso's newest title... Master Hunter.
Queso's training includes agility and obedience. At 10 months Queso earned his CGC, Canine Good Citizen. Queso loves the water! His swimming pool is a great place for fun and retrieving during the hot summers in Tucson's arid desert. Queso hopes to add a few more "chips" to the dip this year!

Queso earned his first Novice Agility title placing fourth at the Astrohall agility trials in Houston, TX in July 1998. Queso completed his Novice Agility title in style placing first on his other two legs in Phoenix, AZ.Queso 8 years old.jpg (161813 bytes)

Queso made his debut in obedience at the Vizsla Club of America National Specialty held in Los Banos, California on October 29, 1999. Queso earned a 197 in Novice B under Mrs. Rosalie Alvarez for a first place. He went on to complete his Companion Dog title at the Old Pueblo Dog Training Club shows with two more great scores and two more first places.
