About Portola School
Principal Phone Address We offer your child a unique educational program with a focus on language learning and high academic standards. All students work towards goals defined by the California Content Standards for each grade level. We provide both a traditional and a two-way bilingual program at all grade levels. The two-way bilingual program promotes literacy and cultural leadership in the twenty-first century. English-speaking students learn according to the California Content Standards in all subject areas and also study conversational Spanish. Spanish speakers learn to read and write both in their native language and in English. Portola has a unique academic program, and we encourage you to visit our school and join in celebrating the gifts and talents of our culturally diverse student body. |
