Welcome to the web site of Norwin Alliance Church's Building Committee.

Norwin Alliance Church is located on Farview Drive in North Huntingdon Township, Pennsylvania. The Governing Board of the church has appointed a Building Committee to develop detailed plans for construction of a Family Recreation Center. The new facility will be added to the current worship complex and will likely include a large multi-purpose room suitable for dinners and sporting events.

This web site has two purposes:

1. Keep the church congregation and the Norwin community informed of the progress and decisions of the Building Committee.
2. Solicit input from the congregation and community on all aspects of the project.

Big Picture - Updated Sept. 22, 2004 A preliminary layout of the Family Rec Center has been developed. On July 20, 2004 the Governing Board agreed with the Building Committee's recommendation that architect Ed Pope lead the work on the Family Rec Center. Mr. Pope has submitted a detailed proposal to the Building Committee for the schematic phase of the work. On Sept. 14, 2004 the Ministry Board decided to suspend work on the building program until a senior pastor is hired and has time to provide input to the building program.
