VISITS
Dog walk and pet sitting visits are usually approximately 20 to 45 minutes. Morning pet sit visits usually start between 7 and 9:30 a.m., midday pet sit and dog walking visits usually start between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., late afternoon and dinnertime dog walks usually start between 4 and 6 p.m., and evening pet sit visits usually start between 7 and 9:30 p.m.

Fluffy Love strives to meet the requested time of service but a time cannot be guaranteed due to many outside factors including weather, traffic, previous appointments and emergencies. We will do everything possible to arrive at the reserved time.


KEYS AND ACCESS
Most clients provide a key or a garage door opener at the home consultation. We recommend that clients provide us with two keys. If the home is in a gated community, please provide a gate card, remote or access codes. We will place the keys in a secured location until future service is requested. The keys will not be stored with the client's name or address.

Should keys become unusable, or if a lock malfunctions or the client forgets to leave a key or for any other reason outside of Fluffy Love's control, we will call you. If you cannot be reached, we will call other contacts you've provided on file. If no one can be reached, you authorize us to employ the services of a locksmith to gain entry. The client will be responsible for all locksmith expenses incurred and reimburse Fluffy Love upon return. We will not be held responsible for the well-being of the pets or house if we cannot gain entry to the home.

If the client does not want Fluffy Love to keep the key in its possession, there is a $10 fee for each drop-off and pick-up trip for the key.


PAYMENT POLICY
For new clients, half of the payment is due at consultation or time of booking, with the second half due when services are rendered. For existing clients, payment is due when services are rendered. Most clients leave a check in a designated area for us to pick up at our first visit. We are unable to postpone payment until next service or offer credit accounts. Payment by check, credit card or cash is accepted. Please make your checks payable to "Fluffy Love Atlanta." Credit Card payments are accepted through PayPal. If you wish to pay through PayPal, we will e-mail an invoice with payment instructions, or you can direct payment to fluffyloveatlanta@gmail.com. Cash payments should be placed in a sealed envelope marked "Fluffy Love." Dog walking clients in good standing can be invoiced with payment due in 7 days.

Any outstanding payments not received in 30 days will be turned over to a collection agency.

There will be a $25 service charge in addition to expected payment in the event of a returned check.


EMERGENCY CARE POLICY
In the event of pet illness or other medical emergency, you will be called immediately for permission to transport your pet to a medical facility. If you cannot be reached for permission, we will take your pet to his or her veterinarian for treatment. If your pet's vet is unavailable and no other veterinarian on staff can treat, it is our policy to take your pet to the closest emergency vet. Fluffy Love assumes permission to authorize any care that the vet deems necessary for pet's health, safety and survival. The client agrees to reimburse Fluffy Love for any additional fees and all costs relating to vet care during their absence, which may include x-rays, blood work, surgery and/or other expensive procedures, and an emergency medical transport and sitting fee of $25.00 an hour may incur.
For the safety of your pet and others, pets need to have current vaccinations. Should your pet's nanny be bitten or otherwise exposed to any disease or ailment received from your pet which has not been properly vaccinated, it will be your responsibility to pay all costs and damages incurred by the victim.


INCLEMENT WEATHER/DISASTER POLICY
In the event that roads become unpassable (i.e., snow storm, ice storm), Fluffy Love will do everything in its power to arrive for pet sitting visits at an appropriate time, but cannot guarantee it. We will attempt to notify the client immediately in such an event, and will arrive at the client's home as soon as it is safe to do so. We recommend discussing a back-up plan with the client (i.e., transporting pet to a boarding facility if inclement weather has been predicted, or leaving extra food and water out), but suggest the client give us the contact information of a neighbor who has access to the home and could care for the pets in the event Fluffy Love cannot. Fluffy Love will reimburse or issue credit for future visits to the client in the case of any missed visits.


SCHEDULED SERVICE DATES AND CANCELLATION
Fluffy Love will call or e-mail you a day or two before service starts to confirm the dates, visits and any last minute changes to pet care or instructions.
If you must postpone or cancel service, please contact us ASAP. We require at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations less than 24 hours will be charged one visit.


MISCELLANEOUS TERMS
Due to the extreme unpredictability of animals, Fluffy Love cannot be held responsible for any unusual mishaps (i.e., pet's refusal to take medication, escaping from the fenced yard, biting, eating strange items, uncrated pets that destroy household items, free-roaming pets that damage inside/outside of home, personal injury/accidental death). We will clean up any mess your pet makes to the best of our ability, but will not be held responsible for the condition of carpeting, flooring, furniture, etc. Fluffy Love reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time before or during its term if it's determined that your pet poses a danger to the health or safety of herself/himself or others. If concerns prohibit us from caring for your pet, you authorize your pet to be placed in a kennel with all charges to be paid by you. Fluffy Love agrees to provide the services stated in this agreement in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services, the client expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against Fluffy Love except those arising from negligence or willful misconduct on the part of our staff.

The client is responsible for pet-proofing the house and yard and the security fences/gates/latches. Fluffy Love will not be responsible for the safety, liable for the death, injury, disappearance or legal consequences of any pet with unsupervised access to the outdoors.

A service charge will apply in the event that Fluffy Love has to run errands to ensure pet's well-being, such as picking up food, litter, etc.

Fluffy Love will water plants if instructed when client is on vacation. However, a green thumb is not guaranteed and Fluffy Love will not be held responsible for condition of plants.

The client agrees to discuss any concerns with Fluffy Love within 24 hours of return after service.

All future Fluffy Love service requests are bound by the above terms and conditions.
