Left, Plume Geyser. Plume, when active, erupts on Geyser Hill (a short walk from Old Faithful). Above, Doublet Pool, also on Geyser Hill, is one of the most beautiful hot pools in the park. Doublet fills, then "thumps", about every 20 to 30 minutes. The thumping can be felt on the boardwalk if you sit or stand near the pool.
