A Video Surprise from Chile |
Not too long ago, in a
post on the LindaRonstadtFans
Yahoo Group, I was attempting
to list all (or to prove that Linda had recorded more than 60) songs
in Spanish. I knew
there were more, but I didn't think of this one until after I sent
the post. I never corrected
my omission, but I'm doing so now, because of a recent stroke of good
luck.
One of my favorite internet indulgences is watching streaming video
feeds from other
countries. The other day I was watching a TV show from Santiago, Chile.
Imagine my
shock when the video of "Un Precioso Sueño"
(the song I had neglected to list) began
playing on my computer monitor. This is Linda's Spanish version of
"A
Dream Is A Wish
Your Heart Makes" from the Cinderella
CD, which contains both English and Spanish
versions of the song by Linda. I was aware of the English video of
this song (it's been on-
line for years), but a Spanish version of the video really took me
by surprise. By chance
I was already ripping the video stream, so I was able to capture this
rare video in its entirety.
Sometimes all the stars in the sky line up just right.

This song has become a favorite at weddings as a first dance song.
In 1995 Disney released this CD.
