My stapling skills have improved hundredfold since I started making minicomics. Thanks, Fridge-Mag!

Etc. | Why
do I do this? I like to create things. When Im satisfied with my creation,
I like to show it off. Its creativity on my own terms; a fun, simple
way to let writing and drawing remain a part of my everyday life.
Thats what I get out of it. Whats in it for you? Read on for the commercial:
Whole Grain Comicky GoodnessIve built my readership by the most natural, organic process available: word of mouth. Marketing is an afterthought, and profits are nonexistent. Im my own editor, for better or for worse. The result is something unique and individual. 100% me; nothing added, nothing taken away. If your definition of a good comic relies largely on collectibility, salability, or even respectibility; youve come to the wrong place.
No-Frills PackagingIts all photocopied, okay? Photocopying comics is fast, its flexible, it keeps me out of debt, and the savings are passed on to you. Photocopying can be absolutely beautiful, too, when done well. Like most minicomic creators, Im responsible for the entire production of my work, right down to the stapling. I am not limited to a single size or shape of book, and choose a format most appropriate to the story I have to tell.
Eliminate the MiddlemanSo, if these comics arent available in stores, how can you get them? From me, of course! For that human touch, you can stop by my table at various comic conventions and zine fairs (click here for details) or order them through the mail. All mail orders come with a personal letter and a few other little surprises, all packaged in a lovingly decorated envelope.
Free Trial-Size SampleWe all need to make a buck somehow, but it just seems wrong for me to put a price tag on a good time. So in that spirit, I always make a point to have a few free comics available. Read them online or send me a self-addressed, stamped envelope for a printed booklet version small enough to fit in your wallet. Click here for ordering info.
