IT’S FINALLY HERE!

I’ve been talking about this for years, and I’m excited to announce that

 

THE BARGAIN WATCHER website has undergone a complete renovation!

 

It now has its own stand-alone web address at www.thebargainwatcher.com.  No more redirecting to the http://home.comcast.net/ link.

 

When you visit the new site you will see a completely updated, automated and colorful site! Most exciting of all is the ability to register with The Bargain Watcher at no cost and utilize many new interactive features including:

 

  • Expanded Search Capabilities – you can now search for Seasonal Sales by Title, County, City, State, Zip Code or Start Date!  Consignment Store ads can be searched by City and/or State.
  • Individualized Sale Listings – as a registered user you can create your own “Saved Sales” list that will be saved to your profile and can be accessed each time you visit the site. Click on the sales you are most interested in, create your own individualized list, and when you are ready, you can print it out and hit the road to go shopping!   
  • Email Updates – registered users will be sent email updates regarding sales and consignment related info.  Your email WILL NOT be sold or given to any other enterprise and no spam will be sent from this site.
  • Advertise - registered users can advertise seasonal sales (with categories including children, adults, household, community, holiday/craft, homeschool curriculum), consignment stores or other consignment-related businesses on The Bargain Watcher for only $30!  There are also Premium Ad Zones on each page that will give your special sale/business even more visibility!  For pricing and more, please visit the website and click on “Advertise”.
  • Paypal – Sale organizers have been asking for this feature for years, and now its here!  You can create, post and pay for your sale online all at the same time!  Ads will appear immediately after payment confirmation is made.  If preferred, ad payment may also be made by mail.
  • The Watch List – I’m especially excited about this new feature which is designed to help you locate that “hard to find” item.  I’m often contacted by shoppers seeking a specific item, and here’s a place to let folks know what you are looking for!  All Watchlist items subject to approval and some restrictions will apply.
  • Bulletin Board – the Bulletin Board will continue to offer viewers a place to search for and find all types of consignment sale/store related businesses and products.
  • Helpful Links –Tips and information helpful to consignment shoppers and sellers will be posted on the Helpful Links page.
