1. Can you see the latest newsletter
title on the club website?
Sometimes a browser, like Internet Explorer, will store an
earlier page version in the Temp directory and display that. It's an
old bug. Select View / Refresh (or hit F5) and see if it doesn't come
up then.
2. What is your service provider?
Most problems we've seen occur with AOL users, but it's not always AOL
users. The most common problem is their service provider servers
are too busy. Usually they have success if they try downloading
again later in the evening or first thing in the morning.
3. Were you able to download the
newsletter in previous months?
If you can't download successfully after trying morning, noon, and
night your service provider may have made a software 'enhancement'
that's causing a problem. Try downloading an earlier
newsletter that worked before as a test. Whether that works or
not send a note saying what works and what doesn't and the link to
your service provider.
