announced.

Key Fundraisers
The Club's fundraisers to keep hockey
costs low for our players will include:
Michael Wise, of Arlington VA, won the Club's 2008 Redskins Raffle.
Mr. Wise won luxury seats, parking, and buffet privileges at the
Nov. 3 Redskins-Steelers game. CONGRATULATIONS MIKE !!!
The Arlington OPTIMISTS have once again contributed to the Ice

 The
2008-09 SEASON IS HERE !!!
The NVSHL has published its regular season schedule. The Yorktown Ice
Hockey Club's schedule has been posted there. You can also see our
schedule on the High School (H.S.) Calendar tab above. The NVSHL season will begin
on November 21 at the Kettler Capitals Iceplex. Yorktown will host the
team from Bishop O'Connell. This season, Yorktown will play
competitive ice hockey among players from area high schools in
Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties. As a special
note, mark Friday, January 30th at 7:00 P.M. on your calendars.
Yorktown plays local rival Washington-Lee for Arlington bragging rights.
 PRACTICE SCHEDULE
The team practices every Tuesday at 4:00 P.M.
at the Kettler Capitals Iceplex. From November through February, we share ice with the
team from St. Stevens/St. Agnes.
YORKTOWN ICE HOCKEY CLUB'S 2008-2009 TEAM ROSTER
The Club is in its sixth year. We have a solid roster of
returning and new players. We plan to play in the Northern
Virginia Scholastic Hockey League - Tier II level this season.
