This architecture was designed to provide a secure, robust, and low latency environment for the Composite Health Care System II (CHCSII)( Now AHLTA). AHLTA is used by tens of thousands of users daily across the globe. Participated in the physical installation of the VPNs, routers, and switches throughout the military hospital/clinic community. Major Accomplishments: Developed web-based applications: Project tracking, document retrieval, and assigned tasks using Visual Basic, Java script and HTML. Created an application to calculate power, environmental, and space requirements for NOC Racks, server, storage, and communication equipment, Created and implemented a system that configures all Cisco switches, routers and Juniper Netscreen VPN devices and manages BGP routing information for all military bases worldwide. RADinfo Systems is a software engineering company that develops applications for the Healthcare industry. As Customer Support Manager, I installed, trained and supported hardware and software in hospitals and clinics around the country, as well as scheduled customer installs for my techs, interacted with customers concerning maintenance contracts and recommended to the customer what network hardware and software were needed at their sites. Maintained and supported LAN- and Web-based Teleradiology and PACS system for doctors to access DICOM Images from Cat Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, and Digitized X-ray film. These Images are transferred from other RIS applications through various broadband solutions, with Windows 9X, NT, 2000, and XP. Mass Markets Billing - Network Solutions and Desktop Support Major Accomplishments: Setup VM to TCPIP Invoice Printing system for development to test billing cycles before billing goes to production, This system saved MCI over 1 million dollars per year in equipment costs. Designed and installed MCI IT Intranet Web Servers with IIS 5.0 that housed 14 departmental websites and applications; maintained all of Mass Markets desktops, laptops, servers and network infrastructure:
* Repaired, Configured, Installed and supported, Mass Markets Billing's OS/2, Microsoft Windows 9X, NT, 2K Workstations and Servers on TCPIP Network.
* Maintained multiple domains located in multiple sites (Virginia, Colorado).
* Designed, implemented and maintained a domain of 30 servers and 200 + users including server rooms as well as switching topologies from Token-Ring to Ethernet
