Who ARE These People?
(said in my best Jerry Seinfeld impersonation...)
It is early. Very early. Not just I-need-a-cup-of-coffee early, this is 1024 years early. September 3rd of 1024 years early to be exact.
Who knows how it happened, but people and equipment crossed through the temporal barrier and 3010 met 1986. Not just any people, and not just any equipment, and not just anywhere -- this happened in Hollywood. At The Palace no less, and the world would never be the same.
But I am getting ahead of myself, the story actually began earlier in the day with some young people from the Camp Ronald McDonald charity for children with special needs -- they were the first kids EVER to play Lazer Tag!
We all know that Lazer Tag would take over the sports and entertainment world by 3010. What few realise, is that it's seeds in those fields began with the time-discontinuity clear back on that day of September 3rd of 1986, just as Worlds Of Wonder founder and CEO Donald Kingsborough was making a donation to help train future U.S. Olympic Team athletes:
Without warning the time-space-continuum opened and The Palace found itself filled with the most amazing Entertainers, Athletes, and Equipment it would ever see! A true who's-who and what's-what that would never again be matched in the storied annals of marketting. But for this one glorious night the Universe was in alignment.
Well they say that a picture is worth a thousand words, so much to the relief of many readers I will shut up now and let the pictures speak for themselves...
