My fifth geocache is located just off the blue dot trail, near the summit of Peaked Mt. in Monson, MA.
The official Geocaching Website has the necessary disclaimer, GPS coordinates, map links, and verbal instructions.
Here is the description of the location from the suggested hikes section of this website.
The trail begin on Butler Road in the extreme southwest corner of Monson, MA. (Pictures taken 03 January 2000)

The trailhead is well marked by The Trustees of Reservations sign. Ample parking is available. Follow the north edge of the field onto Roslyn's Turnpike (760 feet). You begin an easy but steady climb for about 600 meters before turning left onto Bernie Avenue. Notice the circular charcoal platform SW of this junction. In about 100 meters you will come to Ruth's Mountain Road. Turn right and then keep left until you reach the summit (1227 feet). There you will find excellent (180o) east facing vistas. Be sure to sign the trail registry in the mailbox.
The newer blue dot loop trail leads down along ledges before turning clockwise to rejoin Ruth's Mountain Road, just below the summit. There are additional views to the south and west.
To see the rest of this area, return downhill along Ruth's Mountain Road then make a left onto Skid Row. On this old logging road, you get to see some fine old stone walls. Continue south to the end of Skid Row, make a right onto Roslyn's Turnpike then a quick left on Kevin's Road for a short loop that takes you back to Roslyn's Turnpike just above the parking area.
