Sixties or early Seventies. 10.5” (26.5
cms) total length. 2.25” (6 cms)
largest diameter. Note the double filament, at
a right angle to
the axe of the valve, passing through a
metal loop connected
to one side
of the filaments (see x-ray pictures). Filament voltage selectable during installation,
6 or 12 volts, by the use of “jumpers”
in the holes provided in the tube base. Note the small rectangular metal
frame connected to the anode cylinder, seen inside the glass wall near the
anode end of the valve probably intended for gettering. |
