This is in my opinion one of the most interesting reverse types of the late empire. Loosely translated it means "blessed peace". The times were anything but peaceful. These coins were minted roughly between 320-324 at three mints London, Lyons and Trier. Minted by Constantine I and two of his sons. Constantine II and Crispus. There are also varieties produced by Licinius and his son but they are very rare.. There are many different bust variations in this series of coins. This is what makes this such an interesting collectable series. None of the coins pictured on this page are for sale. They are part of my collection.
