Telephone calls are best for clarifying all details in the shortest possible time, but email is acceptable.

The best time to call is between 10:30 am & 1:30 pm Pacific time.

Leave a message anytime by telephone, or email dean.e@comcast.net with your name, phone or email address. Mention the catalog numbers of any item(s) which you are interested in. If they are not already sold, I will reserve them for you for 24 hours, and attempt to contact you.

PAYMENTS...

For domestic purchases payment by money orders, cashier's checks or personal checks. Personal checks are welcome, but must clear before first-time orders will be shipped.

For foreign purchases, bank drafts, cashier's checks or wire- transfers must be in U.S. dollars ($).

VISA, MASTERCARD & other major credit cards are accepted via PayPal for domestic or foreign purchases.

We ask that payments are received within ten days of placing the order. If not, the item(s) in the order may again become available to the general market.

Payments should be sent to Dean Walters, P. O. Box 717, San Anselmo, Ca 94979-0717. Please make checks, money orders or any form of payment payable to 'Dean Walters'.


SATISFACTION GUARANTEED... Return refund & credit policy

If you are justly displeased with your order, you may receive full refund or credit (less shipping costs & credit card fees). However, it is necessary that you immediately express any complaint by phone, fax or email, and return the item(s) within fve days of receipt of the item(s).

Domestic orders must be returned by insured U.S. 'Priority', 'Registered' or insured 'Airmail', or by private carrier, insured.

Foreign orders must be returned by any form of insured airmail.

Needless to say, returned items must be in the same condition as when they were shipped from Vintage Antiques. If you received your order damaged in shipping, or do not receive your order in a reasonable time period, see below (INSURANCE CLAIMS).


SHIPPING...Charges, etc

You will be charged for shipping costs--close to, or at cost--with some exceptions.

In most cases shipping is by insured U.S. mail--either ' Priority' or 'Registered'.

You may request certain shipping carriers, as well as special arrangements.


INSURANCE CLAIMS...Damaged, missing or stolen shipments

Please phone, fax or email immediately if you believe that an insurance claim must be filed. You will be required to file the claim at your end, if shipped by U.S. mail.

Important: If you receive a damaged shipment, keep the damaged shipping parcel for the claim.


MERCHANDISE QUALITY & CONDITION...

All catalog items are illustrated with photographs in the catalog, and carefully described as accurately as possible. You will find that items have inventory numbers just below the photos. Please use that number when referring to an item in your orders or inquiries. Each catalog item is described, then rated for its condition as follows:

Using points...i.e. 8/10, 9.5/10 etc...with 1/10 being the lowest qualtiy of condition, and 10/10 being the highest.


LAYAWAY...

Layaway is not our usual policy, but with exception we will make arrangements. General terms are at least 50% down and the balance paid off within 45 days. Buyer incurs all expenses for handling &/or shipping & insurance.

Default & refund policy

If the buyer decides to opt out of the purchase, a termintation fee will be charged against the deposit. The amount of the fee will depend on the time factor, as follows:

One week from initial deposit...No fee other than costs incurred from credit card charges or other msc expenses.
Two weeks from initial deposit...10% of deposit plus costs incurred from credit card charges or other msc expenses.
Four weeks from initial deposit...20% of deposit plus costs incurred from credit card charges or other msc expenses.
Eight weeks (or 60 days - whichever comes first)...45% of deposit plus costs incurred from credit card charges or other msc expenses.
90 days...Forfeiture of deposit.

Sorry, no exceptions.
