Looking Ahead

From Pastor Sandy Turnbull, Glory Tabernacle

All Nations Gathering

We are now solid on our date for the annual conference which many of you have been requesting for months now.  We will be sending out a "save the date" announcement soon but I wanted to let you folks know as soon as we got things planned.

As you know, we have not done anything as usual this year for 2008.  I felt led a few years ago to have our annual conference in October 08 marking the 40 year anniversary of this gay Christian movement but also ushering us into a new move of God's Spirit for the next 40 years as an inclusive church movement.  We have all been waiting for God to move and we have all known that we have a different spirit like Joshua and Caleb.  God has still promised to pour out God's glory like the waters cover the earth... So... here we go!

The first weekend of May God spoke to my heart that there was a "gateway" church in every continent.  I will be inviting leaders from the continents and everyone else as well so that together we can believe God for the nations and this revival that is going to catch fire across the continents.

The dates for this year's conference are October 17-19th, 2008.  For now, we are just planning on having it at our current worship location of the Jefferson Middle School auditorium [Long Beach, California] but we are believing for our new property to come forth as well.

The title for the conference is All Nations Gathering and the theme is Matthew 28:19, "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations."

Hope you will all mark your calendars and plan on attending.  I believe that as we gather together, God is going to unite us in the Spirit and reveal strategies for reaching people and moving in this new move of God's Spirit.

Lots of love as always!

Pastor Sandy
