Control Line Combat!
We'll be hosting the Middlesex County Invitational F2D CL Combat event for the New England Control Line Combat Association on Saturday May 24th. The regular runway will be closed during this event, but will reopen after the competition is over. Standby for more details.
Construction Derby - June 8th!
That's right, it's "the most fun you can have in R/C". Join us on Sunday, June 8th for the 14th Annual Construction Derby. Each team is given a bag of stuff and 90 minutes to build a safe, flyable 4 channel R/C airplane. After a a barbecue lunch, the teams fly their creations in aerobatic maneuvers. Prizes to the top three teams! See the event flyer here.   All are welcome, but you must be an AMA member to participate on a team.

The Middlesex County R-C Fliers, Inc. is a non-profit organization chartered for the promotion of radio controlled model aircraft building and flying. Please see our Information Brochure. The club operates a flying field located on Treble Cove Road, in Billerica, Massachusetts. Use of the flying field requires club membership. New members who are experienced flyers must be certified before solo flying at the field.
The club's volunteer instructors can provide free flight training to any current member. Club membership requires current membership in the Academy of Model Aeronautics, which is the national organization supporting the sport and hobby of aeromodelling.
Unless posted above on this page, Regular meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month from September to June at 248 Boston Road in Billerica. The July meeting is usually held at the field, weather permitting. There is no August meeting.
