The Miranda Fund History - I started the Miranda Fund back in 2002 to pay for some needed cosmetic surgery and the fund continues to exist today. The goal of this fund is to assist in raising the funding needed to pay for breast augmentation surgery. I was never selected for the "Complete Makeover" television show so I have been saving for the plastic surgery I feel I need. I felt since my web site gets lots of traffic, maybe each person visiting could donate $1 to $20 and over a year it would accumulate into enough for a surgery. Sadly, most people who find this site ignore the fund and it has raised on 2% of the needed funds. Why - The reason behind the desire and motivation for a breast augmentation is that a woman my size in structure and body mass should have developed more in the chest. It is very disappointing to not fill out a bra or constantly shop for padded bras. I have expressed my desire several times to both my doctor and my plastic surgeon, and I feel it is fair and reasonable to seek augmentation.
