Spring ShowsThis year there will be two spring shows: a light opera, a collaboration between PC and the AB Music Department, and the musical You're a Good Man Charlie Brown. An Opera Awakening: An evening of light operaDirected by Jen Moss and Jeanie Furlan A-B’s finest singers present an evening of light-hearted scenes from famous operas including Mozart, Rossini and Puccini – with perhaps some Sondheim or Bernstein in the mix. Our featured artist John Salvi, a baritone, will perform a selection of pieces from his repertoire and a duet from Mozart's "Magic Flute" with one of our sopranos. He has performed professionally for ten years with many opera companies and orchestras throughout New England, in Montreal, and in Washington DC. Originated on Broadway in 1967. Songs include: You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown; My Blanket and Me; Red Baron; T-E-A-M; Little Known Facts; Suppertime; Happiness; and more. Great for families!
