they rest in peace) and are sought after for private appearances in and
around Salt Lake. The band has been invited to regional festivals

many of the programmers on KRCL radio station in Salt Lake, KZMU in Moab

Jesse Luckett [lead guitar,
vocals] As the newest Sister, Jesse joined the band and
made her first public appearance with the Sister Wives
in August of 2003. Jesse's screamin' blues licks and subtle
slide riffs definitely add a new dimension to the Sister Wives
sound. While primarily playing lead electric guitar and more
acoustic lead, she has been sharing more of that sultry bluesy voice
with the Sister Wives as well. Jesse is also accomplished on bass,
mandolin, and banjo. Born in Amish Pennsylvania, Jesse has lived
all over the country. She is currently a full-time student at
the University of Utah, majoring in Anthropology. Jesse loves
songwriting and hopes music plays a big part in her future. Her blues influences
are Johnny Winters, Ry Cooder, Deborah Coleman, Blues Roots, Rory
Block, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Sardinas.

OK, so
we get a lot of questions about the name Sister Wives.
Let me
just clear up the misconception some of you have . . .
none of us are
sisters . . . at least to each other.
Some of
us are wives, but that's really beside the point.
"Sister Wives" is term used to describe the
relationship of wives
in a polygamous relationship
and is generally considered a term of endearment.
And no,
none of us is in a polygamous relationship either.
It's just
a great band name, people!
