Plane pool: Doug, Denise

Comments: I won't get into my gambling exploits here but the show was incredible. Met some new people, had a blast. We were around 25 rows back, close to center. This was my first indoor show this tour and I definitely like indoors better. The sound was more contained and you could appreciate the stereo imaging better. It was great to hear Neil's tom rolls being panned right to left. Again I snuck in a cheap throwaway camera. I was worried because they had a metal detector that you walk through as well as the hand held wands. No problem though. By the way Alex's La Villa rant was the best. At one point he was talking and said something like "you guys talk" as he stopped Geddy and Neil from playing. The whole place starting mumbling and whatnot. He then proceeded to whistle but stopped and he stopped Geddy and Neil again and told the crowd to take over. When the whole place start whistling the guys all seemed blown away at the responce. Very cool. I went to the Hard Rock Cafe to see if there was any Rush Memorabilia (rumor has it that there is?) Between the cafe and the hotel I finally gave up asking when 1 reply was "Rush? Are they a local band?"!!!  See ya on tour.

This show I bought a different throwaway camera, a Fuji where I can turn off the flash. This camera was the worst. I'm going back to the purple one, I'll just tape up the auto flash.
