1950's Family Video - 1950, 1951, 1952
The pictures in this video will give you an idea of the pastimes and fashions of
young parents and children of the early 1950s. Also in the 1950s family video are photos of vacations with relatives and friends - vacations at the snow, the coast, amusement parks, camping and the beach. Every year the family took a two week vacation to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, the young parents set up on the beach with food, and kids were allowed to come back and forth from the boardwalk amusements to the beach. It was safe so children had more freedoms - the older kids paired up with the younger kids and 50 cents was given to enjoy the day.
