Super Snow Cross Stadium Tour
Pontiac Silverdome

Well since the Michigan weather and snow was preventing us from doing ourown extreme sledding. We decided to head to the dome to see some action. I had brought my wife and two kids along, who love to sled as well. The traffic was not to bad getting into the parking lot. (Believe it or not.) Unfortunately Tony had to go to "Will Call" to pick up his ticket, since he ordered by phone. When we split and went our separate directions before the show, Tony had about 45 minutes before race time. Once my family and I reached our seats, we anxiously awaited the sounds of two strokes! Boy was there a lot of green in the pits. Which was fine by us! At 7:30 (start time) Tony finally arrived at his seat. Boy was he upset at the Silverdome ticket personnel. He said that there had to have been at least 200 or so people still behind him in line, that have pre-ordered tickets as well! Luckily Tony did not miss the first heat. He knew some people had to have missed quite a bit,  were still in line. The sled rumbled and we all had a great time watching throughout the night. The highlights of the night was watching the Braaap Pack. They a four guys on Cat's and one on a Blade. The did some great freestyle tricks with massive air! I wish I had more pictures turn out of them. If you get a chance to see them, it's a must. The little tikes on the 120's were very inspirational to see. My son and daughter both exclaimed they wanted 120's too. My son wanted green of course, but my daughter said "yellow". Hey she's only four, she'll come around to green! :) Yes Blair won the main event heat. But if it  wasn't for a black flag, that made them restart after two laps, he would have lost! Yes, Blair was in eighth place before the flag. After restarting he got the jump and took the lead, and held it for the rest of the race. We hope you enjoy our pictures from the event.
Thanks for your interest,
Ken
