All five members were natives of Boston, New Bedford and Cape Cod.

The group performed original vocal arrangements of big band orchestrations and other vocal group charts by well noted jazz and swing groups from the 1930's through the 50's, including Lambert Hendricks and Ross, The Modernaires, The Andrew Sisters, The Mill Brothers and many more.

Using harmony, vocalese and scat soloing as featured highlights in many of the group's songs, One O'clock Jump had a unique sound enjoyed by jazz and swing audiences on both East and West Coasts.

One O'clock Jump performed together for almost 9 years before disbanding, playing concerts, festivals and club dates with a number of renown big bands including The Count Basie Orchestra, The Buddy Rich Orchestra, The Artie Shaw Band and more......
