Game #7

Into every life a little rain must fall.. and without rain there would be no rainbow were the two phrases most used for game #7. Yes, the Tailgate Party was cancelled, but the game was played and South Church fell to a better and more populous team from West Peabody. South only had 8 players which left second base vacant (or right field depending on who was batting), but we held up nicely. 14-9 wasn't all that bad considering the weather and field conditions. Thank God nobody was hurt.

We are looking forward to game #8 in Mattos in Gloucester at 6:15 p.m. I'd like to remind all players that rain in Peabody doesn't mean rain in Gloucester and that games are called at game time. Please show up to keep us from forfeiting because we don't have enough players to field a team.

A special prayer goes out to Louie and his loss. Your loss is our loss as well Louie, please know that our prayers are with you and your family as we raise your Mother up to the Lord as he accepts her home.
