Western Kansas is not the hilly part.
There appears to be a grain elevator about five miles up the road on the right, so this is pretty exciting. I could be eating lunch in half an hour.
I didn't know it then, but I would pass through here again in about three months, moving to Colorado. In my car, I hit one hundred twelve miles per hour. On the bike, it was more like twelve.
