Who We Are
We are a group of Burlingame, Hillsborough and San
Mateo residents who oppose PG&E’s proposed plan to upgrade
existing high-voltage power lines with larger ones at nearly 4 times
the voltage.
We are currently trying to prevent 230kv
power-lines from being routed down Skyline Blvd in Burlingame as in the
current proposal up for review by the CPUC. We seek a safe compromise
– better for all concerned.
The new power lines should be moved a safe
distance from where people live, work or go to school.
We do not wish to stop power from going to san
francisco (The new power lines are for san francisco - not us. )
We do not oppose the closing of the hunter’s
point power plant.
We do not wish to harm any species or plant.
