EMFs from high voltage power lines are linked to
Childhood Leukemia, brain cancer, Lou Gehrig’s Disease and
miscarriage.
PG&E’s plan to put a 230,000 volt line
down Skyline could expose neighboring residents, students and
recreationalists to 15mGs of EMF radiation. No more than 2mGs is
considered safe.
Above ground 60kv towers west of skyline would
stay – sandwiching residents in-between two high-powered lines.
A new “cancer cluster” could emerge
along Skyline.
Both lines would be buried together in current
right-of-way with enough mitigation to keep EMF exposure to under 2mgs.
No one gets cancer.
Skyline is a major emergency corridor with an
existing gas main. Construction would slow response time and could be
dangerous.
Towers along 280 would go away returning the land
to its original pristine beauty.
Land has no endangered species and no indigenous
grasslands.
It’s just common sense.
