Why choose Intown Handyman to improve your home?
* We serve exclusively the Atlanta Intown neighborhoods. Most of our work is through "Neighbor-to-Neighbor" referrals. We don't rely on "big-budget", "Atlanta Metro" scale advertising. Most of these firms, with well publicized names make their money by having many low-skilled technicians servicing the leads generated by their large marketing efforts. These technicians will quote way overpriced figures for what your repair or installation really requires. If you consent to the work (thinking their quote will probably be the same as the next guy's) then you just grossly overpaid for your job. If you turn down their quote, they simply move on to the next contact (sucker) on their list.
* At Intown Handyman, all work is performed on a strictly direct cost of materials and labor basis. Our labor rates are very reasonable (about half the typical handyman franchise rates) and the material cost are simply direct cash expended at your local home-improvement or contractor-supply business.
* We will save you money. We can give you a "guesstimate" of the time estimated to complete your work upon arrival and free inspection of the problem. But time billed will be for time spent at the quoted rate. If we feel that any excess time was spent due to our workmanship error, we will subtract that time from your bill. Generally speaking, "quoted, fixed price jobs" have extra amounts ($$$) built-in to allow for errors an unforeseen circumstances, or they are in effect "how much can you charge and get away with it" pricing models. Let's face it. If we had a crystal ball, we would be in the stock-trading business! With Intown Handyman, we bill only reasonable rates for time actually spent, period.
