Edy Samson is well-known in Petaluma and the North Bay area for her video photography and editing. Whether shooting a concert, wedding, community event or corporate promotional video, she has a special knack of capturing the moment and creating an engaging, memorable visual document.

"My love for videography was born of my love of photography and wanting to freeze the moment. My video recording experience started with producing talk shows for public access television in Petaluma. Since then I have videotaped weddings, public events, sports, musical performances, documentaries, travel video and family history. Video is an inexpensive way of documenting important events. The process of capturing video is really being interactive with the event itself. Having been on both sides of he camera, gives me the opportunity to set up my shot, or interview my subject and provide the best lighting available, with the best sound to be able to see memorable video that will stay relevant years from now."
