Gen. U.S. Grant, Post No. 13, Department of Delaware, G.A.R. Nineteen comrades withdrew from S.F. Du Pont Post, No. 2, and organized Gen. U.S. Grant Post, which was chartered and installed October 22, 1885, with the following officers:
Post Commander - Dr. A. H. Grimshaw
Senior Vice-Commander - Patrick Neary
Junior Vice-Commander - W. J. Farra
Adjutant - Francis McClosky
who served to January, 1886, when the following were elected:
