Khehanad was bred by Robin and Nathan Howard who owns Hi Power Farm in Steedman MO. He was born May 6th 1999. Khehanad has just been wonderful. I can't emphasize how good his temperament is. At four months old I placed an English bridle and saddle on him and he acted as if nothing was amiss and from then on he has treated every knew thing the same way. I feel that he trusts me completely and I trust him, and that relationship probably contributes to how easy he is to work with. Khehanad is very easy to handle and extremely well mannered around mares. Often trail ridden with mares; he is always a gentleman, never loud and obnoxious. Most never know he is a stallion unless I tell them. He was formerly training at Four Rivers Sport Horse Center where many mares are stabled and he is always complimented on how quiet and well mannered he is.

He doesn't just have an excellent temperament but he also has the matching confirmation to go along with it. For an Arabian he is very thick. He has a lot of substance and athletic conformation. For all those sport horse owners out there Khehanad is a wonderful choice as he is anatomically correct for all sport horse activities and has a cannon bone that measures 8 1/4 inches around and 11 1/2 in. long. He also transfers his long legs and big bone to his foals too, as his most recent foal Khefaala Muscatel had a cannon bone measurement of 10 in. long at 4 days old. Add the fact that he is a beautiful mover and you have a winning combination to sire your next champion.  A very prepotent stallion, Khehanad has a remarkable conception rate of 100%, he has easily stuck older mares some as old as 18 or 19. As for color he is obviously a blue black but he also fits the characteristics of both the Rabicano and the Sabino. Therefore, breeding to excessively marked mares could produce a purebred paint Arabian, just another advantage in Khehanad’s wonderful arsenal of qualities.

Not only does he have the temperament and the confirmation, but he has the true Arabian toughness to go along with it. He is trail ridden in some of the most rugged landscapes you can find and has never faltered. I never have him shod and his feet never break up.

If you’re looking for bloodline, Khehanad has that too. He is Blue List eligible, Al Khamsa, Asil, 75% Sheykh Obeyd, 75% Egyptian, 25% Davenport and the only known double Adhem grandson. Adhem has sired great black producers such as Saudd El Amir and Khe Adhm. Khehanad also is a grandson of Sahanad, and has 5 crosses to the great war mare Wadudda. Just a few other well known horses he possess in his pedigree: Faaris, Alaa El Din, Ghazal I, Fadba, Mesaud, Fa Serr. If you want to study his pedigree further click on the pedigree link and see the heritage he carries on. Below are also some reference sites for your interest in Khehanad's bloodlines. One is on his fathers lines and the other is for his mothers lines in particular the Sahanad lineage.
