Newspaper Account of Augusta Fethe Person's Death - ca. March 4, 1881 in Hickman, Kentucky

Mrs. Lewis [sic] Person who kept a boarding house was burned to death in fire which destroyed the Hickman Oil Mills and spread to boarding house last Friday. She aroused the 18 boarders and her children and they escaped. It was thought she went back through house to get cow from shed and was trapped. She was a widow, her husband having died 2 weeks ago [Mid February 1881]. She leaves 4 children.
