Turned Victorian Christmas tree ornaments have become a popular craft in recent years. Here are a few of my designs. Click on an image to view full size.

This is the first ornament I created as gifts. A simple design made from cherry and black walnut. The three main components were turned separately, then joined together.

This design required assembling several thin layers of wood and veneer to create the main turning. This ball has been hollowed by gluing all layers, except the top and bottom layers. The block was drilled, then top/bottom layers glued on and turned on the lathe. The pearl ball in the finial adds a classy touch.

For a change of pace one year, I had a request to make a bird house ornament. Look for future bird house designs to show up in the years to come.
