Here is a good portion of a collection of floats found on Midway Island around 1980-82 by Michael Stanley. The collection consists of over 660 floats, what is left of over 1000 floats found by him. It's been reported to me that several thousand floats a year are picked off of this tiny island measuring only 2 miles across. This collection consists of about 30 floats 9-13" in diameter, 50 rolling pin floats, 3 amber colored floats, blue, green, clear, and light tan floats, a binary float, at least one Russian glass float, and about a dozen floats with water inside.
