I stripped the door panels down to the fiber board, and glued 1/4 in foam to the whole thing and made a cut out where the door handle goes. [

Since I'm no artist, I found this design for flames and I enlarged it with a photo copier, then I glued the paper to 1/2 in foam and cut around the design with scissors. 

I found out the hard way to let the glue dry to the touch before trying to press the fabric down, it leaked right through. [

But after the failed attempt I read the book again. Oops, my bad.

We are going to paint the door and all the interior black. [
