Classes
Our Little Dragons Program is especially designed for children four to six years old. Little Dragons classes stress cooperation, and provide a positive outlet for the enviable energy this group naturally possesses.
The goal of the mental and physical objectives of this program is to develop within the child a blueprint for success in any life endeavor, including a solid foundation for further study of the art of Karate.
Improving self-esteem, self-control, listening skills, and focus are certain to be carried beyond our school into all areas of the student's life.
The motto of this age group is "I live to PLAY"! This is how they learn best, and if you ask the kids why they like our class, what you're likely to hear is "It's FUN"!
Classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays at 4:30 -5:00. Free introductory class.
Our Children's Karate Program is especially designed for children between six and thirteen years old. Imagine what an advantage your child would have in the future from learning martial Arts today. Imagine the boost to his self-esteem or how self-confident she will become.
While learning to work toward goals, your child will be learning respect for both self and others. Recent studies show that kids studying Martial Arts are even more well-behaved, and earn better grades in school!
In addition, in our classes children are taught tools for resolving conflict peacefully, and instructed in how to use their self-defense skills appropriately. Our school offers a safe, comfortable learning atmosphere with qualified instructors who know how to make learning fun. Your kids will love it, and you'll be delighted with the progress your child will make in so many important aspects of life.
Beginner Classes are on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:15 - 6:00. Free introductory class.
Intermediate classes - Tuesday and Thursday at 5:00, Advanced Class - Tues. - Thurs. - 5:45
Makeup Classes are on Fridays at 5:00 except when there is a test or event (check our events calendar).
Adult Karate Program

Many people begin Martial Arts training for the superb self-defense applications, and are pleasantly surprised by the many other benefits of the practice.
Martial Arts training will increase your mental focus and self-discipline, skills which transfer to all areas of life. Tang Soo Do is also an excellent form of whole-body exercise. Many students are drawn to it after finding other forms of fitness training boring. By contrast, the consistent challenge and mental stimulation of Tang Soo Do training keeps students wanting more.
Students training at Seven Stars Academy aren't here to prove anything to anyone but themselves. There is always a helping hand and an encouraging word for participants at all levels. With a positive attitude, we can all learn to reach our goals, and go beyond!

Tai Chi Classes
Tai Chi is a system of enhancing overall health. The health benefits of Tai Chi are widely recognized and are attributed to the way it creates balance in the individual both mentally and physically. Tai Chi is done in slow motion with great attention given to posture and structural alignment, balance, breathing, and moving with relaxation and ease. This induces a relaxed mental state where we experience an awareness not usually felt in our hectic sped – up lifestyle; an enhanced awareness of the internal and external self and world. Tai Chi has been called moving meditation. It is ideal for those looking for a mindful, less jarring form of movement.
Classes are held on Monday at 7:30 pm and Wednesday at 1:00 pm - call to register. Free introductory class.
