Rodman St. Clair is shown here stateside with his ASW crew on the East coast, summer of 1943.  Weaver and Martin did not fly with the Carpetbaggers, nor did Steens. Gross was the second casualty of the Group in the UK, going down with an RAF S.O.E. crew in November of 1943.

St. Clair flew with made-up crews for his missions out of Alconbury and Harrington, and flew at least one C-47 mission to Annecy picking up returned airmen from Switzerland late in 1944.  The exact date of his last combat flight is not known.
