Seacord Crew


Scanned from Special Orders #241, Station 179, dtd 18 Dec 1944

The Seacord crew arrived from the 70th Replacement Depot on 18 December 1944. They departed Harrington more than six months later on 9 July 1945, returning B24H 42-52630 to the Zone of the Interior.  In the great personnel shuffle of 9Mar45 they were transferred to the 856th BS.  Their combat missions have not been fully researched. The picture below is from the Sebastian Corriere collection, names annotated some time after 1965.
