This scan provides an example of how some planes were named following return to service with a different group. In the 389th BG she was 'Old Blister Butt' but following conversion the men at Harrington outlined the abbreviated form of the previous art and gave her a new name (shown in the upper right corner here. She served the group well in the summer of 1944, in custody of the 36th/856th BS.
