This one served time with the 389th BG before conversion to Carpetbagger specs in early 1944. The Ambrose crew named her 'The Worry Bird' but never got around to doing the artwork before the crash. Incident occurred in the DZ in late April 1944, killing five crewmen and severely injuring one. Two evaders made it through the summer of 1944 to be returned to the UK in August of that year.
