"Thank You, Eddie Hart"
The documentary that features interviews with several 83rd Division veterans will air on public television stations across the United States beginning in May 2004.  "Thank You, Eddie Hart," focuses on one soldier -- PFC Eddie Hart, 329th IR, Co. G, who was killed in Barby, Germany on April 12, 1945, the day before the 83rd Division established the first permanent bridgehead across the Elbe River.  But it is the story of many WWII soldiers and their families.  Five 83rd Division vets are interviewed, and many others contributed information and photographs for the film.
