1/83rd Artillery BLOG
|
Rules & Regulations The 1/83rd Artillery Blog is another way for former 83rd Artillery members and friends to electronically communicate with other 83rd buddies. The general rules for how this feature will work are as follows. To add a new topic: 1. The website developer (Bill Taggart) will post all new topics to the
Blog. Anyone wishing a new topic or question posted to
the Blog should send their request to
billtag@comcast.net. All
requests must be accompanied by the name and contact
information of the person submitting the new request.
To add comments to an existing topic: 1. After a new topic is posted, anyone in the 83rd community can then post responses or comments pertaining to that topic. Please note that all comments will also be reviewed for content by the the developer before they are added to the website. All responses must be accompanied by the name and contact information of the person submitting the comment. 2. Access the Blog at
http://83rd-artillery-blog.blogspot.com/
or click on the link below.
The Blog can also be accessed through a link on the
Table of Contents page on the 83rd website.
3. After accessing the Blog, the first screen you will see
has a link "Links to this post". Click on that
link.
4. The next screen shows "83rd Field Artillery -
Blog". Following any comments already posted on that
page is a link "Post a Comment". Click on that link.
4. The next screen is where you leave a comment. If you
select the "Anonymous" radio button at the
bottom right side of the screen, you will not need to have a
Google/Blogger
account (or any
other account) to post a comment.
Just write your comment, key in the scrambled word you will
see in the box provided and click the "Publish Your
Comment" link. This will generate an email to the
website developer who will monitor this facility for new comments and
pass them to the BOT for review
before they are added to the Blog.
DON'T FORGET TO IDENTIFY YOURSELF IN YOUR COMMENT OR YOUR MESSAGE WILL NOT BE ADDED TO THE BLOG. |
